Guy Lemière (°1947) begon op 8-jarige leeftijd mandoline te spelen als leerling van mandolinevirtuoos Frans De Groodt, aan de academie “Jozef Van Poppel” te Deurne, waar hij de graad “uitmuntendheid” behaalde. Aan de muziekacademie van Wilrijk behaalde hij eveneens het diploma van muziekgeschiedenis. Sinds 1979 is hij mandolinist bij de Koninklijke Estudiantina “La Napolitaine”.

Guy Lemière (°1947) started playing mandolin at the age of 8 as a pupil of mandolin virtuoso Frans De Groodt, at the Academy “Jozef Van Poppel” (Antwerpen-Deurne), and achieved the degree of ‘excellence’. At the Academy of Wilrijk (Antwerpen) he obtained the diploma of music history as well.Guy has been playing mandolin in the orchestra since 1979.
